I went to temple bar once - I got Guinness (because it is AWESOME) and my friend got vodka and coke. The Guinness was by far the cheaper drink.

    Making me jealous!

They have Guiness and music in Cork and better Indian restaurants.

    Don't think so.

Certainly better than Dublin, did you think I was meaning Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Brick lane or any of the other traditional homes of sub-continental cuisine?

I mean as someone who has travelled in India about 30 times for up to 6 months at a time, top to bottom side to side, the 'Indian food' I have experienced in various restaurants in Cork (where I go several times each year) has without exception been dire, over-rated, too expensive and lacking in any subtle flavours whatsoever.

And that's only their good points, I would rather eat on Ryanair!!!!!!

If you know of a GOOD Indian restaurant in Cork (I wish) feel free to PM me and I'll take a look in a few weeks unless I've tried it before.
