Hope no one has posted this, but when I was Matalan today I bought an item that was buy one get one free (Ultimate shirt). As it was 20% off I thought I'd be paying £12.80. The till took 20% off £32 instead, making 2 £16 shirts £9.60. I assume this would work with any BOGOF. The shirts are really nice too.

This works with any offer. The 20% comes off first then the offer.
E.g. The 3 for £5 knickers work out at £3.80 for the 3 with both discounts0
