Humax 9300T - Software update

A software update became available this morning until 9am 03/06/2011. Its Loader Version a4.37.

Put tv on channel 1
'Menu'
'Installation'
'password' (0000)
'Software update'
'Manual Update'
'Search'

My 9300T had started to change channels very slowly (if at all) and I kept having to switch power off and on again. Hopefully this will solve it.

Have you been in hibernation for that last year? This is not a new software update, this is version 23 software which was released May 2010 and has already been broadcast 12 times previously!

And there was me hoping for a fix for the out-of-sync condition between sound and picture when skipping forward past the adverts for the usual 30 seconds, multiple times... (It sorts itself out after a random number of seconds.)

Here's the link for information about the year-old software update, if anyone's interested!

Sorry to have gotten you excited. The email I got from Humax sounded like it was a new update... obviously only telling me when the old update was available over the air.

It's the Freesat HD/HDR boxes that are getting "Over the air updates" from today...

You could manually update using a USB stick usually 2 to 4 weeks before they broadcast the update...

All done and installed thanks. Just find it annoying that it wipes your Series Record settings in the process.

    Strange-mine doesn't lose the channels-but I did a rescan anyway.
It's re-inputting all the OH's soaps that I find tedious!
