Barclays PPI Credit Card advice

Hi, after reading Martin's PPI reclaiming guide I just have 3 queries I cannot find the answer to and wondered if anyone could help.

I have found T&Cs from a PPI policy for a credit card (Barclaycard) that I have had since 2000. I still use the card and I checked my latest statement and it is itemised as "Optional Payment Protection" so I am still paying it!

At the time of taking out the policy I was 18 years old. I cannot remember if the policy was taken out face to face or over the telephone but I believe that at 18 years of age I would not have fully understood what I was taking out and why, although I cannot remember the details of how it was sold to me.

1. How can I prove it was missold and on what grounds?

2. I have never had a lot of debt on the card. Would it atually be it worth it?

3. I am actually thinking of tking a loan with Barclays -could a PPI claim affect my eligibiity?

Thanks
Claire
