I haven't done any couponing for a few years now since my Tesco stopped taking them:( Will the supermarkets take these home printed coupons now?
Tiamaria You will find the answer to your question here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=43253646&postcount=11

You should also invest some time to read the first few posts before that as you will find it contains a wealth of info.....Also note that this is stores that should accept coupons, there are local restrictions mainly due to abuse/trouts(Jobsworth's) and so you will only find this out by actually shopping there, be prepared to develop a thick skin!
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

It's the one in a tin, not the jars.

    This one http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=254255729

My hubby wont even go with me, he enjoys all the goodies I get and the money I'm saving but thinks the "Tesco Police" are gonna get me. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

thanks a lot, thats the one in the tin i got but mine scanned at 50p...
talking about tesco police.... a family member of mine spoke to someone of authority (without going into detail) about how the security guard treated me, and he said the moment we pick up the receipt its known as stealing! i mean i want to save money as much as anyone but i dont want to spend it all on my 'bail' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
although it was stated that security guy shouldnt have followed us around like thieves i do understand a bit more why he did it, no more wombling for me!!:eek::eek::eek:

In the Daily Mail on Saturday June 13, there’s an amazing £1 off when you spend £5 on your family’s favourite fruit and veg. Why not treat yourself to some fresh juicy British strawberries or buy some crunchy apples for kids’ lunchboxes?

There’s another £1 off when you spend £5 on delicious fresh meat, fish or poultry at Tesco. Perfect if you’re having a BBQ or a cosy family meal. Don’t forget, you can buy any three selected meat, fish and poultry items for just £10.

Spend £5 on frozen food – from cooling ice cream to garden peas - and you’ll save £1.

And there’s £1 off when you stock up on those essential household cleaners – there are over 50 household essentials now at half price in store.

Plus why not treat yourself to £5 of health and beauty products (you could stock up on kids’ suncream for the summer holidays) and we’ll knock another £1 off your bill.

Thats really strange, in view of the fact that just last month Martin Lewis put an article on the homepage here regarding this very thing. There was a man who admitted to wombling at Tesco and Asda and he was donating money to charity. Both supermarkets were quoted as saying something like "we have no problems wombling receipts, good luck to him" so whats changed.

Anyway, how can picking up a bit of paper lying off the ground be stealing. :rotfl::rotfl:It wasn't in store after all.

I saw a super trouting today. The woman at the next till had a coupon for a loaf of bread. The coupon seemed to have been cut from the packaging of the loaf but didn't have a barcode. Trout went to find CS super-trout who rather cheekily told her they don't accept coupons without barcodes. The woman stood her ground and demanded a manager as they sell the item with the coupon so why wouldn't they accept the coupon.

I've no idea how the Tesco tills work but the CS and SA could have been a lot nicer plus the woman who served me then started !!!!!ing once the woman had left. Are customers meant to be mind readers now and when our crystal balls are broken we should graciously accept down right cheek from lowly checkout operators?

    Evening all

Took someone's advice from yesterday and used my £2 Huggies little swimmers voucher to buy a single pack at 78p and the rest off my shopping :p

Also managed to use another 2 fantastic savings MOCs on one pack of nappies - took a bit of talking though as the tills says you have not bought the product. Doesn't mention anywhere in the t&c about 1 per purchase though. Wish I had chose Asda instead of Tesco as they are on offer and they don't give me as much grief for using both MOCs. Have also entered my receipt for the difference (first time I have found a use for this since DTD).

Can't find the rice fusions in my store??!! Presumably they are in the freezer with the veg??
