Last time we had split threads it was Browntoa who was policing both threads as he is this one. One of the reasons we voted for a combined thread again was to ease the work load.
Mad has voted and whichever way it goes you'll all still have to put up with me:D

You obviously have a better memory than me then mad ;) I for instance remembered that BT was a SHE so I will refrain from using my failing memory/eyesite for fear of a flame war :p

Well I am going to put my two penneth in now and be slapped with 100 wet fishes, but I feel that the Regulars are not too keen on the newbies joining in with the chat, it feels a little hypocritical when you post good mornings etc and yet you feel the thread is being over run since dtd finished with newbies posting, yet you say in one post good morning/evening ?? If I had one complaint is to stop useless posts like that.
Well you give out good advice and I am very thankful for that, but I feel like I'm scaring all the regulars away (my opinion) and I am going to go back to being a lurker. I will probably not post on this forum again.
As to two separate threads I think that it is a silly idea that has come about because the regulars want their forum to themselves, well I'm sorry if I have stepped on anyone's toes , it wasn't intentional.
    Goodbye!

can we please remember what this whole "voting" is for? it is to ease the strain for IS as she is finding the load too much with all the posts.. its not about attacking and "newbies"/regulars, war, its about what people want to happen....IS doesn't have to "ask" she could of simply dropped out and left everybody fending for ourselves in the thread.... now you can all slap me as much as you like with your fish............ but remember... my fish is bigger than yours! :D:p:D

    From 1 "newbie" to another...

this is not an attack of the above poster!... just my views and a gentle reminder as to what we trying to get sorted out here to make it less stressful for people and easier to have fun with the mocs etc

if anybody wants me i'll be in the corner with my big fish ready to attack back:D

That CS was posted towards the end of the last thread, I have printed it but only shopping once a week these days so haven't tried it yet, it comes on a page with three CS mocs printed, the other two are for more obscure items IMSMR ;)

You have to be a member (Who on here isn't ;)) and it prints your name/membership number in the top right hand corner which obviously isn't an issue when using at the co-op but not sure if I want T knowing 'personal' info like my Co-op membership number...:o

I really don't see why my post upset gigi123 so much...we'regulars' as you call us (ie. those of us that have been posting on here for a few years now) have all welcomed the newbies, and responded with replies and good wishes etc...the point I was trying to make , which I obviously did not make too clearly is .....now there are so many posts I can't keep up and I would prefer a separate thread...that's all...nothing sinister, nothing to offend, honest injun, and so gigi123 , you think it 'silly' idea to have 2 separate threads, I don't think keeping it as one is' silly', it's just that monitoring now has got too much for IS the way it is , and to lose IS because of that really is 'silly' .....
That said if it does stay as it is and Moneytight takes over, I'm sure she'll do a fab job ....might just be off to become a lurker myself now....

    Well I have voted.

I am a great fan of Idlesaver as you all know, she has worked hard for so long now and dedicated herself to this thread.

I know its a pain having so many posts basically, just chatting (and I am as guilty of this as the next person) but I guess I still prefer one thread.

We have a drivel thread and maybe we can try diverting some of our chatting to that thread to make life easier on the thread "boss" whoever ends up doing it.

No offence meant to moneytight. I am sure you would do a great job.

Could we not try to keep the thread going without too much change at least for a while. If we are in the mood for a chat try and do it on the drivel thread which you get to very easily via page 1.

Maybe if we gave this a go for a few weeks and then see how everyone feels

    Here, here :)

Have to say I think this is a great thread. I have been a lurker for some time; I'm a newbie to posting on this particular thread but come and go as I feel the need. Regulars have always been kind and welcoming. Some days I contribute others I don't. And you know what, that's ok. When it comes down to the point, it's about saving money; it's a bonus that a lot of people are now regular friends on here. Friendships take time to develop in the real world and cyber world is no different; so I would encourage all newbies to stay and make use of the wealth of experience and generosity that exists on this thread.
Net in hand awaiting the wet fish :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
