POSSIBLE MEAL DEAL GLITCH....:j
Hubby bought a Tesco £10 meal deal the other night, i, as usual, price checked the receipt and got £4.51 (approx) back as the wine (Isla Negra cabernet sauvignon) was £4.48 in Asda and showing as £8.99 on the Tesco receipt.
I tried to recreate this yesterday but totaly messed up the receipt, should have put the meal deals through seperately! so Tesco didn't compare it..
I think it's another glitch....don't shoot me if it doesn't work for you!!0 -

Well if this works it'll be a nice change from eating wraps, mexicorn, Philadelphia, spam and not forgetting the rice fusion on the side :rotfl:DFW Nerd no: 1490 -

If they don't scan, the SA should manually input. If SA can't or won't manually input, go to CS and they should do it and refund you the value of the coupon. At least, that's what I've done in Tesco, and that's what they're supposed to do, although individual Tesco stores often make up their own rules.
Yes, but with the Dove coupons, they do say one per person or one per transaction, something like that, which is why I was refused them the other day. I didn't think it was worth me going to customer service desk, as I thought they would tell me the same thing.0 -

The Dove coupons do say one per person. What I do is hand over one in my name and one in my DH name and then the SA couldn't refuse it as it as I am only using one coupon per person. I'm lucky and in my Tesco they do not scrutinise the small print, but I always go prepared.0 -
