Coupon and chat mixed threadBefore I wish you all good night, wife and daughter went shopping today at Mr T and with moc's and apg (from a wombled receipt £1.58) managed to get an £81 shop down to £55 and shrapnel.
On another note I notice a Mr T in Scotlands mis priced their beer and by all accounts had a near stampede on their hands, this quoted from BBC news site
A deal offering three boxes of various alcoholic drinks for £20 was going through the tills at three for £11.
Police were called to Tesco in Greenock after heavy congestion was reported in the car park as customers rushed to get the deal.
A spokesman for Tesco said the pricing error was quickly spotted.
He said till operators changed the prices manually until the system was corrected.
It is understood the offer was supposed to be "buy three boxes of beer and save £11".
Instead customers were able to purchase up to 45 small bottles of lager or 36 cans for £11
News of the error spread quickly from about 1900 BST, with many people posting messages on social networking sites.
Twitter user Graham McKenzie tweeted: "Price glitch for beer has literally caused a stampede at the local Tesco. Tempers are flying in car park."
Rebecca Macdougall tweeted: "Was casually chatting to my dad about the beer situation at Tesco mention 3 crates for 11 quid and he sprints to the car."
Bet someone is going to be in trouble tomorrow, and on that note shall wish you all sweet dreams and catch you all tomorrow.0 -
Idlesaver in chargeMorning all...the above glitch reminds me of the one January 2010 for John Frieda/Charles Worthington products...should have been 3 for 2 but they were going through the tills at 3 for £2.I've never been in a supermarket at night, but Icollected my daughter and we got there to find 2other peeps filling their trolleys...I got almost £100 worth for £14 and my daughter got £150worth for £21.Cupboard still full of it and was topped up recently by stuff sent by John Frieda re apols for their free mousse turning my hair RED, and stuff from L'Oreal for turning my hair almost black....think these new hair colour mousses are not good for my hair, but have enough shampoo/conditioner/sprays etc to last for several years.0

Morning guys - just a flying visit to say hi - am moving all this week - spending first night in new house Sunday - had to take yesterday off and spend all day cleaning as previous tenants had left the house FILTHY! Then went to leave the house at the end of the day and was locked in! The farmers had gone home and locked the gate! They came back to let me out and we had a chat and they're meeting me at the house today to give me a gate key and look at a few things. Got surveryor round this morning to look at my house and next door (who are buying my house) only they've gone away so i've gotta sort it all out.
Hope everyones well and will catch up more once i'm all sorted xA home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -

Moneytight in chargeAnd a good morning to you as well CW, beautiful here in Lincs, just managed to print the Birds Eye coupon. Hope everyone has a great day! I think I'm going to have to ring the vets when they open as my poor old bruiser of a cat came in last night with a swollen eye and it looks really yucky this morning and tight shut and he's not a happy chappie at all!0
