Amazon - how fast!!

I ordered a CD and DVD from Amazon at lunchtime yesterday and chose the Supersaver free delivery - which says it takes 4-5 days longer than 1st class, but the goods arrived in the post this morning - How Great!! :dance:

Also, I have to say play.com have also been fantastic so thanks to both! :T

I haven't been so lucky.
1 item i ordered from the marketplace came next day and I have recieved a calendar I ordered at the same time from a different seller on there but none of the stuff i ordered from Amazon itself have shown up yet.
Its annoying as I am not going to be here tomorrow and you can bet your bottom dollar it will come when I am out!

I have never ordered from Amazon before and only did it for the Nectar points LOL

Have you had your "goods dispatched" e mail yet? I find that invariably I receive the goods two days after the e mails, normally as you say, the day I'm going out so it's a trip to the sorting office the day after. I must say that I have ordered loads from Amazon this year and everything has come as promised (including a Wii)

I must give Amazon a pat on the back aswell, for a different reason.

I ordered a CD on 4-Dec (a Used copy from a 3rd party via Amazon). The estimated delivery date was between 7 and 20 Dec. Upon non-receipt on 20 Dec I sent an e-mail to the 3rd party vendor. No reply was received. Three days later I contacted Amazon, expecting the process of reimbursement to take at least a week.

However I checked yesterday and the funds had been refunded to my credit card on 26 Dec.
