Hello all! Am with lloyds for my contents and buildings insurance and got my renewal quote today. Was not happy with the new quote as it was £4 a month dearer than this years. Phoned them up and had a moan and they gave me a reduction of £98 over the year. so now my monthly payments have reduced by £4 instead of increased. SO HAPPY just wanted to tell someone!!:D Just goes to show it is worth haggling with the companies!!:T

My parents are in the same boat - Lloyds TSB well expensive. I've advised them to do this - maybe others can do the same.
Use Quidco and head to the Zurich link. They are offering £80 cashback for new policies in December. I've just taken out contents insurance and the original premium was comparible to others at £12 per month so I'm actually paying £64 over the year rather than £144.0
