just had new sofa delivered today, leather has white marks on arms and seats, with a 1" scratch which looks to have been coloured with a pen to hide it, got to call them tomorrow, should they replace it?

Yes they should replace it, so long as you report the fault within a reasonable time, which you are. They may say to repair it, but I'd demand a replacement or compensation, if you are happy to live with it.
Assuming you bought brand new, it should be as stated and free from any defects whatsoever.0 -
I would probably ask for a discount for the scratch and if they say no then say you are refusing as not fit for purpose, obv this may leave you without a sofa for a while...The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
