Praise for Vodafone

My 21 year old son has a contract with Vodafone and has done since he was 18. His most recent contract was an 18 month contract with a Blackberry Bold which he took out in March 2010 on £25 a month plus £5 a month for BB messenger I think, anyways it was £30 a month total). Unfortunately in mid April 2011 the Blackberry stopped booting up and he tried all the 'fixes' suggested on the Vodafone forums, none of which worked. He mentioned in one of the threads on the forum that he was annoyed that he had a phone which didn't work and a contract with 5 months left to run. He got an email from one of the Vodafone moderators asking for the best time to call him to try and resolve the issue.

They called him the next day as agreed, and a wonderful lady took all the info down, and said that they would cancel the remainder of the contract and what phone was he looking at next? He told them the Samsung Galaxy Ace and she was able to give him a 12 month contract on that at £20 a month with the first 3 months £15!

I am a serial moaner if something goes wrong but I was amazed at the customer service given here. WTG Vodafone. If only I made more than 3 calls and sent more than 20 texts a month I would have a contract with you too

I bet he wouldn't have been able to cancel the contract without getting the new one.

Don't doubt it for one minute, but he's always been happy with Vodafone so would only have gone to someone else if he really had to.
