Oh Goody! Glad i got my payout in the end then. We have now bought another car and have gone with Admiral on their 'two car' policy. Do you think they are reputable?

I even had it confirmed to me over the phone today that if i had cancelled my policy the day before the event, i wouldn't have had to pay the balance. :(

if you cancelled the policy before it was stolen and then tried to make a claim, you would have no leg to stand on in making the claim.

Yes, i understand that thank you deutsch, my query was as above...having to pay the balance of my years insurance because i had made a claim for which wasn't my fault when i wouldn't have owed them for the whole year if i had simply cancelled my policy. But thank you for your input.
