Hotel close to CIA?

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel/B&B in Cardiff which is not too shabby? I’ll be going to an event at the Cardiff International Arena next year so somewhere close to that would be good. Price £30-£40 per night max for a double room. Thanks for any suggestions.

the ibis is opposite and also the Big Sleep, its not a far walk to the novotel or to the holiday inn express, but if you are going to those 2 i would get a taxi if its late at night. Also try the Marriott in mill lane, if you try the late hotel booking sites you can get them quite cheap.

jurys hotel is dead opposite, big sleep is just round the corner (as is one of the city's 2 ibis branches). there is also a holiday inn or two, and several b&bs on the taff mead embankment which are within15 mins walking distance :beer:

its worth contacting the cia incase they are doing hospitality packages in conjunction with a local hotel?
