Ah fair enough. It's hard to please everyone, but majority rules, so she'll have to suck it up!0 -

I'll need to send it back from my house as I've got another dress here to go back and I've got the delivery note. I can get their courier to pick it up from here. (PS, I'm in Scotland, she's in Leicester).
Check their returns policy carefully. You might be able to print out a return slip and return the dresses sepparately (I've done this with Debenhams), thus allowing the BM to return it on your behalf to save postage.
For the next one, why not get it delivered direct to the BM to save even more hassel?
Give CS a call before spending silly money0 -
Just rung BHS and they can pick it up by courier from her direct. Sweet! I'll make sure the replacement is sent to her direct too. Panic over!Getting older is inevitable, growing up is optional :rotfl:0

McKneff - you're not wrong! I hate having to organise things being so far away. The wedding is taking place in my hometown which is a good 6.5 hour drive away and not really acessible/affordable to fly to! :-(
Thanks for your good wishes though! We're having a short engagement as I didn't want to spend what could be several years stressing over it when we could stress over several months instead! :-)Getting older is inevitable, growing up is optional :rotfl:0 -
i think it's fair enough for the bride to pay for alterations, but i can't imagine the BM asking for postage to be refunded. that seems verging on rude to be honest. i wouldn't ever dream of that!:happyhear0
