Aqua credit card -- confirmation of identity/address:

and they've just written to me asking for my ID again even though they wrote back weeks ago returning it and saying thanks. Called Aqua, who put me through to Halifax customer services (apparently a naughty fob-off), who could see the application, & the agreement and tried to call the underwriters but missed them by 2 minutes. Apparently 1 link in the chain needs to press a button but hasn't done it yet. I must say, Halifax customer service is sublime as I can't imagine they were under any obligation to speak to me about it. Surely Aqua themselves should front their customer services instead of bouncing customers to the underwriting bank? Can't wait to 'grow' a credit history and apply to Halifax instead! Aqua's application process certainly seems to leave a lot to be desired. Hope that it gets easier if / when the card is ever issued.0
