HI

my daughter will be taking her surf board with her to st ives which is approx 6ft long - do you have to pay any extra for it or book it space??

    Ring FGW and ask them if she can put it in the luggage compartment at the front/back of train.This way the guard will know when he gets to Bristol and you wont delay the train.

    cjp1802 are you doing the same journey as wolves10 ie catching the train at Bristol or using a First Great Western service. If not then it will be a different Train company with a different customer services number.

    Also to add FGW will allow you to tak eone if one person can carry it. If not its a fiver to go in the van
