Thanks SO much. The link wasn't working for me earlier (I have registered on Arctic Monkeys website but received no email either). But just tried again after seeing this post and it worked! (i pasted into a new browser so that MSE doesn't show as the referrer just in case).

Take care out there. My neighbour used the link posted here to order 4 for her son and friends. Delighted, she rang her son (he's at 6th form college) only to be told he had also booked 4 tickets! I advised her to ring seetickets and and explain the situation with regard to it being a mistake and she only wanted 4 tickets. She's just got off the phone to them and they informed her that if she hadn't rung them, ALL EIGHT tickets would have been cancelled as they had already identified all the addresses that were getting more than 4 tickets. Like I said before, the Monkeys genuinely don't like touts (a lot of artists pay the subject lip service but do nothing about it, it's clear that seetickets have been told to crack down with this sale).

Just use 2 cards and 2 addresses. Seetickets do not force you to use the address on your CC so one lot to home and another lot to work. They would only cancel the second lot of tickets as well, not all 8.

Still hadn't had my email confirmation over 4 hours after booking - it said it would take up to 3 hours.

Rang them and they confirmed the order, and said they would manually email me a confirmation. Also said they would email me the link to 'print at home' which I had'nt expected to get till nearer the time :j

but for the person who asked, lancs CCC actually have romos available to stay in and theyre pretty reasonable too. might be worth checking out
