  • There's apparently going to be another one of these darn sarf. Totally organised by the band, allegedly. But NO arena tour, which is a blessing. Shame they couldn't find a big enough venue in their amazing home city (OK, I'm biased), but never mind.

I believe that's the gig Joe Cole was at. Saw them the day before the album was released (and the night When The Sun Goes Down hit number 1) at The Leadmill, an 800 capacity venue in Sheffield. Got offered £400 for my ONE ticket whilst I was queueing to get in. Not exactly money saving but turned it down. Thought I was mad until I'd witnessed the gig. I know a lot of people say Muse are the best live act at the moment and I know it's only opinions but T'Monkeys are IMO the best live act at the moment - if only for the amazing atmosphere generated by the crowd.

(on topic) AM like to be different and not rip off their fans, so I'm hoping for VERY affordable ticket prices. We'll see.
  • They have made one LP of 40 minutes in length. Tickets should be about a fiver.
  • I'll bet that they look good on the dancefloor :D
  • They have made one average LP of 40 minutes in length. Tickets should be about a fiver.
    Knock another £2 off that

I think it's more to do with quality than quantity, though  . Plus there will be 2 albums-worth of songs out by the time this gig is staged. But, of course, if you don't like them you don't have to go - or waste your precious time posting any more negative comments on this thread. ;)

    Don Valley Stadium?

Big enough for far bigger bands in the past.
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.
