    I just got one too!!

Think it must be as I got the £3 off voucher the last time & now get their newsletter.

Only downside is having to buy a 7.5kg bag - £55+:eek:.

I know I shouldn't moan but I wish it'd been a £10 off when you spend £xx amount - both my cats get RC (Indoor 27 & Light 40) so would've been nice to stock up on both of them.

    So ..... which one do I treat?:rotfl:
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

Yes I also got the email. I do buy 10kg bags at a time which saves money in the long run. My two cats would go through a 2kg bag in 3 weeks at £17+. The 10kg bag lasts a good 5 to 6 months. The guy I buy off usually as I am regular customer knocks of a bit anyway.

I guess if mine ate the same one it would be OK - a 2kg lasts each one 6 weeks so would be 3 weeks if the same.

But for those with cats who eat different RC types, or those with single cats it's a bit pants.

I worked out the 10kg one would last one cat (either one) a good 7 months - and I just don't think it would keep fresh for that long no matter how hard you tried.

I think the offer is weighted towards dog owners - you can get a 12kg bag which would only last my dog 30 days (unfortunately he can't eat this) and, at under £40 which is about £20 cheaper than you need to spend to get the offer for the cat food.

Don't know if it's worth asking the pet shop if I could buy 2 x 4kg bags (so I can get a bag of each type).
