I am looking for a cheap land line rental
i am with BT but out of contract i only pay for the cheapest landline option they have, plus the processing fee and the new charge so that the rest of the country can have internet - i'm sure you know what i mean.
i dont want to pay all this its a rip off i only use it for 0845 and 0870 numbers and that is MINIMAL and i'd rather do without BT, as i have a second line (voip) with orange broadband so can call all landlines for nothing and i have an orange mobile so i can call for free there too.
i have seen the primus offer below £6.79

but i cannot see it on primus own website says cheapest is £8.99?? has anyone ever used primus?
i must get rid of the expensive BT i dont want to go onto cable because my broadband is only £5 a month for life
Do orange have a landline service at all?
any help appreciated

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
