Have you tried Screwfix direct although owned by B&Q recently I bought some wardrobe handles from them and were a lot cheaper and quantity I wanted rather than buy a full pack from B&Q. Not sure if they have that type but worth a try.

Also u get cash back on greasypalm if you use that also.

try The Range - they seem to stock similar stuff to B&Q but at a fraction of the cost - i know i bought handles for my kitchen cupboards from there, they were about £6 whereas B&Q wanted £14

When I was getting the kitchen done in my house my kitchen supplier had a telephone book sized catalogue absolutely full of handles...no kidding, there were thousands of them! Maybe if you pop into an independent kitchen supplier and ask to see their catalogue as you are updating your handles you might get a better deal. B&Q don't make their own handles, they get them from the same supplier as everyone else then put a premium on them. When you're looking through the catalogue take a note of the manufactuers names and then do a bit of googling at home and contact them direct.

I got some lovely orange resin ones (yes really, they are lovely) for my current v.colourful kitchen, and in my last place had some gorgeous green resin nobs which matched the tiles there through going direct to manufactuers...B&Q etc etc usually don't carry the full range of what is made so you are limited right away.

Ebay have them. Some sold by individuals and some sold by shops.

Last year I got some handles for my mum and there was a bidding war on for them (and all the others at the time). When her new kitchen units came she decided to get different handles and now I cant sell the original ones. Nobody is bidding for handles. Is there somewhere else to get them from now that I dont know about?

Try Ikea. They have a very good range of handles and considerably cheaper than anywhere else.

unfortunately b&q dont do the sizes we require so im needing a made to measure service. best quote so far is about £200 which isnt much but i want to better it!

ive not long decorated the kitchen so dont want to replace all carcasses worktops etc, just a quick cheap makeover with some new doors would be ideal
