Santander preferred account quick question

I have just moved from RBS to Santander and need to know what they class as a month, ie. you need to pay in £1000 per month to get the £5 bonus but is the month from 1st to 31st or say 15th to the 15th iyswim?

I really don't like the way the direct debits look on screen either. With RBS they were all there with payment date and amount and I used to tick them off when they had been paid. With Santander you have to faff round swapping from one screen to another.

Ah well!

A ‘month’ is the period between two statements.

The statement date depends on the day the account was opened. If it was opened on the 22nd,
all the following statement will run from the 22nd to the 21st.

Each statement will show 'Total money in' and 'Total money out'.
