I won a Vauxhall Corsa life from Take a Break in 2006. I can't drive & have never wanted to, but my DS had just passed his driving test, so this was perfect.
It's still going strong too.:j:j:j0 -
The Holiday to see the Ashes in Australia this chrismas just gone, It was the holiday of a lifetime as I have always wanted to go to Sydney to see in the new year and it finally happened, added bonus was we got to meet the England cricket team who were such nice guys as well.
had some other decent ones but nothing comes close to that, something we both will remember until the end of our days as we could never have saved up for it in a million years.Blessed on 18th February 2014 at 0814 with little Sarah xxx0 -
For me it was in 2007 from here i won £1500 with real people magazine, i booked a holliday to Egypt something i could never have afforded to do for two weeks all inclusive was only working part time at the time, an amazing prize,
I've had some great wins over the years some small and a few bigger and i appreciate every single one, things like make up, cds come in handy to pad out birthday presents, thank you to all people who post the comps and everyone who adds there pictures i love seeing what everyone wins, It just shows you that you can win some amazing prizes big and small that can change and add a little ray of sunshine to your life,
happy comping all xxx0 -
my most memorable was getting to go be in the videoshoot of an AC/DC video, and see the band up close (we were right next to the stage).
Very cool prize that money couldn't buy (with travel down to London, food, drinks etc we were actually out money, but loved it all the same!)The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0 -

I think the best is yet to come for me. Still a bit early in my comping career lol... only about 6 or so months in.
Best win i think has to be the £100.00 as i get to use it how i please (will probably go towards my rent.)0 -
In 1998 I won the Bridget Jones competition, I wasn't really a comper at that point, but had bought the book to take with me into hospital as I was due to give birth, anyway I noticed a competition where I had to come up with a slogan to win £10,000, a years supply of chardonnay and the millionth copy of the book. Anyaway i dashed off a slogan, gave birth to my gorgeous son and forgot about it. Then I got a call telling me I had won. I met Helen Fielding which was amazing, and I used the money as a deposit for my house. This was a win that really changed my life, although I still can't look at a bottle of chardonnay!! They delivered 365 bottles all at once, and I remember the health visitor coming to see us and my son's moses basket was surrounded by all these boxes of wine!
I only took up comping again about a year ago, as I never really had the time before, and although I will probably never win anything so life changing again, the little wins that sometimes pop through my door really cheer me up.:)0 -
Some great wins there, my best wins have been a Sega Master system when I was 11. We won it from a packet of Wotsits.
I won a Coca-cola competition to play football at Hampden Park, you got your own shirt in the dressing room, free food and drink and your name on the board, it was fab!
