A thread to cheer us up on the first day back after the bank holiday :D

So what's the best thing you've ever won? Note it's not necessarily the most expensive win (though it might be), could be one that changed your life in some way or gave you the most excitement etc.

Mine was winning 10 tickets for a posh party last Xmas (think it was Weeowens who posted) which included a 3 course dinner and loads of entertainment including aerial acrobatics and bumper cars. It was a brilliant evening and I was able to take 8 friends and my partner along for a treat. Seeing how much everyone enjoyed it gave me a massive boost. In fact thinking about it is partly what made me come back to comping :) (thanks again wo!)

Wedding and holiday/ honeymoon to St Lucia. :-)
We'd picked out this particular hotel last year but then after many months of saving, decided we couldn't afford it; we were going to book a cheaper alternative in Mexico on the following Saturday - I found out I'd won this prize on the Monday. We couldn't/ still can't believe it but it's all booked and we go in December.
Since I won this I've started comping properly and have won allsorts of items. Definitely got the bug :-)
Best wins: £10k Kitchen, weddingmoon in St Lucia, £3000 cash, 3 x iPads, £1000 cash x 3, tickets for my niece to meet Justin Bieber, Thailand holiday, Milan holiday, Mulberry iPad cover, Mulberry clutch bag, £2500 Peter Werth clothing, Dubai holiday, Center Parcs holiday

Mine have to be my 2 fantastic holidays!!

The first being to Australia which was a Christmas to remember!

The best was Florida though as we had been looking at booking to go and decided we woudl leave it a while and save up. Even that morning, my husband had found flights, but decided not to book.

Then at 5pm, I had the call from ITV to say I had won! Perfect timing!

The best part of the win though was seeing my children's faces light up when I told them. I had kept it from them for 2 weeks until the prize was confirmed! My eldest cried, she was happy!!

Last year I won Oasis tickets to their first concert in Manchester in several years. it was a sell out so an extra date was added and lots of tickets were given away. I couldn't go but my partner took our eldest son and they still reminisce about it even now. Shortly after that the band split up so that was possibly the last chance ever to see Oasis - who are my hubby's favourite band - live in concert :)

I won 8 tickets and an exec box at Wembley to see Greenday last year....was great fun!
I also won tickets to a premier and a £100 Pizza Express voucher so took some friends for my birthday meal.

I always tend to enjoy the physical wins...although grateful for any win!!
I would love to win a holiday though, as not one of my friends can afford to go away, so I can't go away :( xx

The family holiday to Hollywood has to be my best win so far. It was so exciting to go to California and stay in Los Angeles. We had passes for Universal Studios included, as well as a mask making workshop - where they make latex masks for films. We stayed in ther Sheraton in a huge room with the biggest, cosiest beds ever!
It was a once in a lifetime trip - and most certainly an experience I could never have afforded to do otherwise. x

I have been lucky enough to wins lots of lovely prizes. My life changing prize was an all inclusive trip to an exclusive Austrian Spa resort. It was by a lake in the Austrain Alps and it was the wonderful. I could never have afforded the prices well over a £1000 per night . I went on their detox program and it changed my life in that I learnt how to manage my weight I lost 2 stone and I have kept it off. I also learnt about relaxation and massage. It was wonderful and all thanks to MSE.

My best timed prize was a 32 inch HD TV the day after my mums TV blew up and we were all wondering how we were going to afford to replace it for her.

Thank you to all the amazing posters, I do my bit to contribute when I can I don't believe in taking without contributing and that philosophy had rewarded me well over the years.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A
