Calling all Twyford Geo 6 owners / shower experts!!

Hi all,
I'm hoping you can help!! I've installed the shower trays for my shower enclosure (Twyford Geo 6 - which I went for in the end), however I am worried for the shower enclosure.
What I need to know is - does the shower enclosure sit right on the very edge of the tray? I'm hoping it doesn't and that it comes in a little bit, as my tray meets up to where the door is, and the architrave has had to have a little cut out of it to allow for the shower tray. I'm probably not making a very good description here.
Perhaps these quick photoshops will help?

I just want to know if I can squeeze my shower tray on. It may be very tight and kiss up aginst the architrave. I *would have thought* that shower enclosures should be slightly inset from the outside of the tray to leave a little lip.
If not, then I will have to get the joiner to move the door casing over as the tiler needs to join right up to the architrave obviously. Something so small can become such a headache!
If anyone can at all let me know their experiences ASAP, or even take a pic of your shower tray enclosure that would be amazing. I do of course appreciate ANY help at all.
Cheers! :beer::beer::beer:

Remove architrave - it should not be driving this process and in any event if screen is tight to it you'll never get a proper seal. Offer screen up to tray and see where it fits. If necessary drill the wall and fit it - yes I know you'll have to take it down again.
Now offer architrave back up to screen and see how much you need to trim the architrave to sit properly against the door frame. Its not inconceivable that tiler may have to tile right up to edge of door frame so that tiles fit nicely behind screen. It may be that the architrave just has to finish at the top of the screen.
Whatever you do worry about just how much you have to trim the architrave to refit it (it may be a lot) once the tiling is done and screen fitted.

as above. fit the shower first and then worry about any other second fix problems such as architrave.Get some gorm.0

Thanks very much guys - as usual great responses. It's funny how I can't see the answer to relatively minor problems so quickly. The tiler (who's working at the house at the moment) wanted the architrave on as he's tiling right up to it. Hence why I was worried.
Today we decided to trim the architrave back a bit. My joiner still thinks the shower tray would fit fine, though I wasn't willing to take the risk. Looking at Andrew's picture I think we did the right thing. So now the architrave does not sit over the shower tray at all and still looks dandy.
Good tip about the painting Andrew - I spotted that when I was leaving tonight, so I'm going to whizz round it tomorrow morning before the tiler comes back.
Had a long day today, still research to do!
Thanks again people!! :beer::beer::beer:"The future needs a big kiss"0
