BT - very inefficient when you want to leave them

PPI Party Pooper
Just wanted to let anyone who is planning to leave bt to keep a note of dates, etc. We left them on 12 April and they still took a dd on 5 may. Despite contacting them 3 times to tell them we left them on 12 April we finally received a final bill (sent 25 May) and it only refunds us to 4 may. Guess it's 4th time to remind them of when we left them :( to try and get our refund. Last time we spoke to them we also said we wanted to escalate a complaint and they said they would get back to us and haven't .

Does the 12 April date take the required notice into account?
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

you left them on april but don't forget may would be the final bill because bills are done in arrears except the line rental best bet would be talk to the bank if your in doubt!

    Good luck Fellow MSE

BT saying they'd get back to you but didn't? Who'd have thought it?
