  • I'm in, please :)

I went a bit AWOL last month, just had exams and many ups and downs along the way...mostly downs but carried on pottering away.
I have numerous INs from last month, which I will update my stash list with but also UU:
S&G Flake Away, WBA - I like it.
TBS Banana Conditioner - think I have 2 more in my stash but didn't really do alot for my hair, but smelt good.
M&S Ingredients Cherry Body Butter - WBA, love love love, just have to use up all the others I have first

Have to go and buy some cotton wool pads for my toner tomorrow but that will be all when I venture into Boots and an eyeliner sharpener!

I've uu an Elle Macpherson Release the Day Bath Soak that I used as hand wash in the bathroom. Have now filled the dispenser up with a Spa Bath Essence.

I noticed that Mr FMG's shampoo ran out the other day but that he hasn't gone and got a replacement bottle out of his toiletry drawer. I haven't done this for him as I thought it would be helpful if he could use the Herbal Essences shampoo that is sitting round the bath with about a quarter of an inch left in. This is exactly what he is doing and so I should be able to report a uu of this during June ;)!

    IM IN PLEASE!!

Not sure if anyone has made reference to it (as I need to back read for June so far!) but has anyone seen the new mens shower gel with a hook advert?? If not, basically it features a man tip-toeing round a womans bathroom as its so full of toiletries, and he is scared to knock something over (which ofcourse he does), but it's advertising that this new showergel has a hook to hang it up
Ive forgotten which brand it is, but my point is

Thats totally what my bathroom AND bedroom look like!! Haha

Can you take it back after work and see if you can get a refund - I don't know what Morrisons policy is as I don't shop there - but if you really don't need it it's worth a try.

If there anywhere you can go at lunchtime that isn't the shops? I'm lucky I work on the edge of the city and can have a little walk in the countryside/village each day - really helps and normally no money spent (unless I get a chocolate craving!)

Thanks for the advice, I have passed them on to my mum as she was quite happy to take them off my hands.

I work on a trading estate so there is not much to do really which makes it difficult to stop myself going to the shops. I am going to make more effort and bring a book in to read at lunchtimes to stop me going out as much.

1 UU - Batiste Boho dry shampoo. WBA as I use every other day but have plenty in my stash so no need at the moment :D

Charlie welcome back - sounds like you had a lovely time!

Not too bad except I got ill and had to see a doctor which cost £40  and worst of all can't even claim it back off the insurance as its a £60 excess....Least I dont feel like Im dying anymore - apparently I had a swollen stomach....

Planning on having a bit of a pamper night tonight - will probably use up one of my body butters I should think. Its our anniversary tomorrow so OH is taking me out to the cinema and dinner afterwards ;)

Still on the job hunt now, came across a sales job I could easily do but its at a printers in cardiff, which is almost too perfect as obviously thanks to OH I have a fair bit of knowledge of print related stuff so ive just text him the details of the company and he's checking them out and going to tell me what to put on the application to make me sound brilliant :rotfl: bless him...

Good luck with the Cardiff printer's job application Charlie. I wonder if it's one of the printing companies in Fairwater, I was brought up there.

Welcome to all newbies. Two small UU's The Aqua Light shampoo 75 ml. WIBA? Yes, I think I would, I liked it. I wonder if they'll still make it by the time I come to need shampoo?!
Also forgot to add the HE freebie sachet of shampoo /conditioner the other day. WIBA? The conditioner left my hair gorgeously soft but I won't need conditioner for the rest of this year. Or possibly next. That's mostly due to all the vouchers I had to use up and my not wanting to buy shampoo, deodorant, hair colour, facial moisturiser, shower gel or body lotion with them!! As I don't wear make up other than the odd bit of lippy, it didn't leave me many options as to what to buy.

Postie's just brought yet another Olay 7ml freebie, the 3 point super serum. Currently I'm using Olay Aqua Physics Anti Wrinkle serum under a Simple moisturiser. The Aqua Physics is going down rapidly and it's difficult to know how much is left, so this is timely.

It's not exactly toiletries but I've been using HealthAid's Osteoflex joint care cream that was a freebie through Amazon Vine. It's not suitable for daytime use if you are going out, the smell of eucalyptus and menthol is overpowering. Very much like Algipan - if you remember that. Or Ralgex, which I think is still available.

    I'm in!!

Finally I'm back!! :j Somehow I seemed to have lost my password and it took me 3 different attempts to get MSE to send me a new one so I could reset it and get back to posting.

Consequently I've missed most of May and I havent got hours to read through all the posts:eek:, so I'm starting again in June :D

However, that doesnt mean I've not been following (sort of :o) the No toiletries pledge......I've had a little tumble here and there - like the £7.25 I spent on Avon) but on the whole, I've only bought things I've run out of :T

My daughter rearranged all the things on the shelves in the bathroom the other day and I have to admit it looks much nicer to be able to actually see what I own and have it all nicely laid out rather than as much as possible crammed into each possible space.

But I've still got a plastic box full of toiletries and two full drawers so I'm still far off graduating, but I've definately made progress. :)
