Some people are never satisfied are they, I've had stuff wrapped in bin bags and still give full ratings.
if you get a good product at a decent price, people can't grumble.

you haven't put in your listing how they are packaged, i.e in brown paper. If so the buyers are expecting that and not the mailing bags??

No mention of packing material in any listing, but thanks for the thought in case I had.

Maybe people assume that you're charging more for the posh bag than the brown paper, without examining the actual cost. Brown paper is cheaper so customers percieve a better bargain (even though you're not actually charging differently). Especially if your items are lower value in the first place.

Red, blue and green bags look really nice and they are not much more expensive, you could try them and see if it works.

Yes its petty, but i agree the colour of the mailing bags makes a difference to some people. :cool:

I charge for postage and packaging, but tend to charge slightly less than the actually postage,
Buyers Think they have one over on you when they see youve paid say £5 postage but only charged them £4.50 and it gives them a sense that they have got a bargain, also the start price isn't so obviously carrying the FREE P&P...Works for me anyway

I use grey mailing bags and have no problems with low stars.

Could it be something entirely different or just a co incidence?

Are you sure this isn't it?? It could be as simple as the volume increase making it look like more low DSRs but the % may be the same
