Gatwick hotel and parking.

Hi,

we are going away in December for the new year and will need to stay overnight at Gatwick with parking. I wondered if anyone could recommend a hotel? I have 2 kids so we would like something to do nearby or a pool in the hotel etc if possible. Don't want a repeat of the Holiday Inn Express at East mids!! No where to go, nothing to do in the hotel and all trying to sleep very early in the same room with 2 excited kids!!!! Not a recipe for a relaxing start to the holiday!

I joined the free marriott rewards program and booked the marriott at gatwick as you then get 20% off. It was £106 inc 15 days parking for a 1 night stay in june. The hotel is on site so its a 5 min walk to the south terminal. Will post how it was once ive been!
