Halifax

I know many of you will laugh at this but yesterday I arranged to pay a bill online and it didn't go through for some reason. I rang Halifax to check why and the guy on the end of the phone said ' I'm very sorry Miss xxxx, we appear to have made an error and are about to charge you for it too! I will have the error corrected and the charge removed. I will also arrange some compensation for the distress this may cause you'. Totally unprompted. At 6am. I am totally gobsmacked!!!! Once in a while the corporate vultures really do surprise you....

You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
    You just keep on walking
