Wordpress posting problem

Wonder if anyone here uses Wordpress and have had problems when posting?

I have updated to the latest version of Wordpress (3.1.3) tried to upload a photo, which did not work and when I came to write an entry it would not allow me to publish - the only option was to submit for review and even that did not work as an error message came up telling me I was not allowed to edit the post.

I am the only user and my account is set as the admin.

Have done a search on the Wordpress forums but have been unable to find anything, so hoping the good people here might be able to point me in the right direction.

Working fine on all my Wordpress sites. Are you posting a post or a page?

Hi Steve, it will not let me publish posts or pages. I can edit posts and pages that have already been created but cannot create any new ones as I am faced with the same problem.

I'm assuming it has something to do with the previous updated version of WordPress (3.1.2) as it was just prior to that update that I needed to write anything and everything worked okay then.

Maybe try and reinstall 3.1.2 again as it could just be part of the installation has gone a bit loopy. If it was a problem with Wordpress in general then it would be affecting everyone, not just one person.
