Hi,
I have a Natwest Credit card with a zero balance. At present their is a BT offer on the account of 0% for 6 months with 3% fee.
Just wondering has anyone tried to close Natwest/RBS cards down and what offers was available through retentions?
Thanks
MS

Never tried to close mine down, but I've found that by leaving a £0 balance or spending a little and paying it off in full each month, has lead to several offers of 9 months + (IIRC one was for 10 or 12 months) and also a raise in my limit. This has happened in the past 2 years, since I paid the constant balance off.
The years I had a constant balance and didn't pay it off each month, I got no offers apart from the odd 3 month one here and there.0
