Warning - Citroen C2

Many of you may have seen the feature on watchdog about the brakes on Citroen/Peugeot/Renault cars - on some models, they can be operated from the passenger side of the car.
Listed in the watchdog report were the following Citroen models:
C3 Desire, the C3 SX, the C4 VTR, Citroen C4 SX HDI.
I've today discovered that my 53 reg Citroen C2 GT also has the fault, so may be worth a check if you have one too.
Went along to my local Citroen dealer to ask what the procedure was, especially as this model hasn't been noted specifically as having a fault. The lady I spoke to said they won't do anything right now and I would be contacted via the DVLA only if a recall was made for them. I'm a little concerned about the 'if' they are recalled, as mine will definitely need to be fixed... so going to phone the Citroen contact centre tomorrow to see what they say.

I have a 53 plate Citroen C2 as well, just went and checked and it was fine. Bit worrying all the same.0

Make sure you have a good press all around, I initially checked where the feet would sit naturally, but it's kind of upwards in the direction of the glove box - if an adult were to stretch out in the seat (i.e. how you would on a long journey to stretch the legs...), it's up where the tip of their toes would press in.0

If you can watch the video on watchdog then you get an understanding where the issue is0

Has anyone made any progress on this. I'm picking up a C4 VTR+ from a Citroen dealer in a couple of weeks. From what I can gather there still has been no official recall, but was wondering if Citroen was implementing any fix on a case-by-case basis?
Thanks
