Buyers have 4 days to pay, if they haven't paid after 4 days you can open a NPB , close after another 4 days. Some people are likely to be away or just busy over the bank holiday.0

I got paid this morning from a guy who won on the 27th and he is in Slovakia so I was starting to consider a NPB was on the cards. He did contact me yesterday when I sent a payment reminder to say he was waiting for his wages to go into his Paypal linked bank account this morning. True to his word, he paid first thing this morning.0

Id say at least 4 days although its a drag to wait. but put it in your auction for buyer to pay within set number of days or you will place a none paying bidder flag on their account. (done by disputing none payment) its a moan but you have to do it0

I sent all of my buyers messages on Wednesday to let them know if payment wasn't received by 9pm Thursday then items wouldn't be dispatched til today at the earliest as I went away over the weekend. Two paid (took parcels with me to post on Sat lol), one contacted and said they'd pay but didn't, the other's haven't replied or paid, I'm not a mind reader so NBP's opened.0

It doesn't matter what you put in your auction as the ebay requirements outweigh any seller requirements.
A seller can open an nPB on day 4 and close it 4 days later and nothing on the auction can change that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As Soolin said you can't enforce anything other then ebays rules so that is pointless.anne211981 wrote: »Id say at least 4 days although its a drag to wait. but put it in your auction for buyer to pay within set number of days or you will place a none paying bidder flag on their account. I set up my ebay account to automatically open an NPB dispute after 4 days on my behalf.
Opened one on someone a couple of days ago but they still haven't paid. Very infuriating.
Also had someone win an item from me last week, they messaged me 3 days later saying they could not pay for a further week as they had no money until pay day. Why would you bid on something without having money to pay for it? :mad:0 -
I'm still waiting for 2 from last Sunday

Shame of it is, I've posted off all those who've paid now.0 -
I sold 3 things over the weekend, only 1 bothered paying though. The other 2 cases opened automatically tonight. I even messaged them both yesterday in case they were away over the weekend & forgot to check when they got home. Nothing, bu55ers0

Yet again I have 3 NPB open. I waited 7 days and then opened the cases.
One is slightly odd though as it was collection only and he did turn up but 4.5 hours late and I was getting ready for bed (it was after 9pm) so sent him away to come back the next day (he only lives 2miles from me) but he never came back and then emailed me saying it was my fault for not letting collect..
the problem being the item he was collecting was not a hand over at the door type thing, it was a shown working etc and I am not doing that in my Donald duck PJ's
So I am guessing he is not going to pay at all.
I also have one that is a such a low cost item it is silly and the buyer has over 500 feedback.
If I weren't trying like mad to clear my house I am not sure I would bother with ebay as it does seem quite a bit of work.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
