Facebook Problems

I am just about tearing my hair out with continuous problems I am having on Facebook and I cannot find any answers in the help pages and I wonder if anyone else is having the same probs.

The probs first started in February when I uploaded some pics from my holiday. Put them all in an album (71 pics) and changed my profile pic. The profile pic did not change and only 26 of the pictures could be seen in the album at times yet other times it showed 71? Sometimes friends could see all, sometimes only 26.

Yesterday I changed my profile pic from say Pic A to Pic B. Cropped the pic as you do, clicked finish cropping, profile pic still shows A. So then I change to a different pic, Pic C. Same thing, still showing Pic A. Logged out, cleaned out all cookies temp files etc, log back in and now no photo at all is showing in the profile:mad:

Today, each time I go in it is pot luck as to whether it is profile pic A, B, C showing or no pic at all!!

Other things happening:
1. Receive an email for a new friend notification. Click on the link and it tells me I have no notifications. This has happened with 5 different new friend requests recently.
2. Receive an email telling me friends have added a comment to a post. When I click on the link sometimes they show, sometimes they don't.
3. When I hover over the "notifications" button, my new notifications appear very briefly (split second) then disappear and I only see notifications from say 2 days ago?

I have just logged on at work in case it is something on my laptop at home but now I see a different profile picture????

Hubby sometimes see my correct profile pic, sometimes he does not. Today he was seeing no profile pic for me?

Anyone have any ideas or experiencing this?

Why not completely remove the pics, sort out your profile pic then reupload the pics (10 or 20 at a time as opposed to all the lot in one go)

What browser are you using? do other people see different pics of you & experience the same issues when viewing your albums as you do when they are on your facebook page?

Yes I thought about removing the pics and starting again. However that does not resolve the other issues.

I am using Firefox, as does hubby. He has no problems whatsoever. Pic A should now be my profile picture. Today when hubby was signed into his account he said there was no picture showing for me. When I logged in at work this afternoon (also on Firefox) my profile pic was showing Pic B.

Also yesterday I wrote something on my wall. A few people added comments to which I received emails. When I follow the link, their comment is not there, only the first comment that was added yet when I was signed in at work I could see all the comments.

A friend of mine was having problems with comments not showing on her status updates. I couldn't see her updates on her profile (only in the news feed) but I could see everyone elses.

Maybe delete the account and start a new one? I deleted mine in Jan and havent looked back. There's more to life than Facebook

why not send an email to facebook re: the problem? this isnt a computer issue, its an issue with facebook. an yeah, you could just your account.

The golden question is...... how do you find an email for facebook? All you can do is look at the help centre, have to read millions of posts to see if there is anything similar!

Check all your settings eg who can see comments as fb sometimes changes default settings.

Well I am in the "bugs" section of FB now. My god some peeps are having major probs as well. I think the profile pic one could be a known bug.

Just compared with hubbys settings like for like. Our settings are identical. He is having no problems whatsoever.

ive emailed them before. they tend to get back to you a lot quicker if yuo are a paying customer, but if you harass them enough theyll get back to normal members.

You are always given the option in facebook to state whether the help was actually helpful, if its not then you can file a report
