I don't really know what it was like in years gone by, and the only rink I can compare it with was a brand new one. Compared to that, it's a bit of a dive ... but functional!Tesla wrote:Is it still a bit of a dive or have they spruced it up?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Dive is definitely the right word but ignnore the moldy tiles on roof and dont think too much about whose mouldy feet were in the boots b fore u and its okay. I hate the steps up to the place it feels like your going to a multistorey carpark or sumthing! But it was free and we felt v christmassy after.:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0

Rose (or anyone else), do you know if this is happening again this year? I got the impression it was a regular thing, but once more can't find it on their website!Signature removed for peace of mind0

Update from the vicar's wife: she thinks it happens every year, so we'll probably give it a whirl again!Signature removed for peace of mind0

AFAIK it happens every year, but best thing would be to phone them and ask - then let us all know!Signature removed for peace of mind0

So they are CHARGING this year? Pity. Mind you it was absolutely heaving the year we went. I think we had to pay for skate hire.Signature removed for peace of mind0
