Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately I do not have Frontpage. Which is a pity because I would have liked to have given this a go. Are there any free alternatives?
Contrary to some; I quite like the idea of using a template. I've looked at a few, and to the untrained eye, they look quite good imho.
The other benefit is that they offer complete control of your site, so text / photos can be amended at anytime - unlike if I had someone design it for me.
Yes there are the issues of email addresses etc not looking professional, but as people have pointed out, there are ways around this.
I use KompoZer, I believe Frontpage is now regarded as outdated, but could be wrong.
Free templates, http://www.zymic.com/free-templates/

There is quite a lot to learn and the DIY sites look a bit DIY. Almost certainly you will want to tweak the code. Agree about the domain name. Looks feeble if you don't have your own domain and e-mail. It's not that expensive either. A domain and a year's hosting with something like one.com will cost you less than £25. Although you only want an information site, it is good to include a contact form. The info can be e-mailed to you using PHP. Contact me if you want some step by step advice.Je suis sabot...0

It's a start-up business. What do you have available as start-up finance? Enough to purchase MS Office?
If you don't have that much in ready finance, how much do you have? Is it enough to really start a business....?0 -
I built a web site using freewebs.com now webs.com I'm up to my free limit, about 12 pages, so I have stopped adding to it, it's easy though.
