Urgent Autoaid question!

Hey all, hope you're well.

I have a breakdown policy with AutoAid and my car has broken down at a residential address that is more than 1mile from my home. I have arranged for a local mechanic to collect the car and repair it as it cannot be driven but in the mean time I need to get to my place of work which is around 45mins drive.

Having spoken to Autoaid just now it wasn't crystal clear what will and won't be reimbursed.

(1) Can I be reimburssed for a taxi to take me from where I am now to my place of work (ie complete my journey)?
(2) Will the cost of the mechanic taking the car to his garage ALSO be reimbursed?
(3) Will the cost of me making my way by taxi to the garage (whenever the car has been repaired) ALSO be reimbursed?

Thanks very much, it's just that the guy I spoke to at Autoaid didnt sound convincing!

Without reading the actual T & C's I don't know.
If you have kept all the receipts for everything you will probably get the whole lot refunded.

I think I can either be reimbursed for (1) and (3) or (2) and (3) but not all three, is that right?

I would try & get reimbursed for all !!
