Edit copy of CV

Somehow I managed to lose my saved CV :mad: but I've found a printed copy which I can scan to my pc :D Trouble is I want edit it....how do I achieve this.??

    You need OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to do what you want, most scanners come with a basic version of said software.
    Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.

    ocr software usually comes with the scanner / otherwise, there are some free ones i think / Google maybe ? not all will work with an appointed scanner though ...

    It sounds like it would be quicker to re-type into a word document? That way you can re-work, format and add as you go.

    Given CVs are about 2 pages long I would think it's going to be quicker to type it again.

    yeah, i'd agree: OP, just retype and edit -- it probably needs updating anyhow ! mine does ! :o:D

    If it's posted on any of the job websites (Monster, etc), they usually give you the option of downloading it for editing.
