If this is not in the best place, could it be moved please.
I'd really like the version of Theme Park that I used to play on my Amiga to play on my Win XP pc. I downloaded a megadrive based game and it worked OK, but the controls unfortunately make it annoying to play and impossible for my DD, who wants to play it also.
Ideally I'd like to play it with the pc mouse, but I seem to get alot of info about running an old version of PC theme park on XP, which is a bit beyond my techie skills I think.
Is there a version somewhere I can download or buy, that anyone knows about? Or any other info I need to know?
A newer version is OK, as long as it keeps the same gameplay I suppose.

Simply click the tab that says 'run in compatability mode for'
This will 'ungrey' the box below it then you select windows xp
click apply at the bottom

Three main options:
1. Buy the PC version from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0009J1JKC/ref=asc_df_B0009J1JKC3034842?smid=A1J73UFKTK1WCY&!!!!!googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B0009J1JKC
Used also available. Compatible with Vista, should work with XP.
2. Use a Windows based Amiga emulator:

I see what you mean about the 'Inc'. You can get the original from ebay, but you'll still probably need an emulator (DOSBOX) so it may be a moot point:
http://video-games.shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=theme+park+-world+-inc+-south&_sacat=139973&Platform=PC&_sop=15&_dmpt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&_odkw=theme+park+-world+-inc&_osacat=139973&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
All I can say re: emulators is to just keep trying. Not everything immediately makes sense to all of us, so you just have to keep plugging away at it - and find the right places for the answers.0 -
Yes thats all you have to do to get it running on your system, I know that for sure as I have Theme Hospital on my computer right now and thats how I did it haha!!!
You might even be able to pick one up at pc world etc for a fiver if your out and about, Otherwise I would just go with ebay its the simplet way and shouldnt cost more than a fiver delivered :-DI dont have to show riches, To pull up, Pull of with some bad b*tches, It's about my persona, Aint nothing like a man that can do what he wanna0
