Interesting to see on the Charity Commision's website that last year Motability actually returned a net loss of about £1.4m.
I think we can guess that's because of the higher residual values prices indicated when many cars were taken three years ago. The fall in residual values when the cars were handed in has affected their profits. Let's face it, non-profit making, means no profit above operating costs. If they're treading a fine line it'll be easy to get it wrong some years in either direction.0 -
