    noodle soup is going to be my second dinner.....and just noticed i have fishcakes and wedges left in freezer so one more to go!

    A block of cheese can go a long way, cheese omelettes with the eggs you already have, get some spuds..jackets with cheese/beans?

    Some Pataks curry paste and a couple of tins of chickpeas......if you like curry that is. I usually chuck in some veg that is lurking at the bottom of me freezer.

    Go retro with egg and chips.

    Tired.

    Porridge for breakfast

    6 eggs = frittata, omelette, quiche, boiled, scrambled,poached

    Liver is cheap and tasty

    Mince = bolognaise, meatballs, pie/pasties, calzone, lasagne, dry fry and sprinkle on HM pizza, dry fry with garlic or garlic salt and add to pitta breads with some salad, chilli, make meatballs and do a meatball toad in the hole, or plain old mince and tatties.

    Chicken= roast, curry, stirfry, pie/pasties, stew, risotto,

    sausages = Toad in the hole, casserole, cowboy stew, with mash, on pizza

    Veggie style meals = macaroni cheese (or use spaghetti, fuselli etc) mushroom risotto, tomato and cheese risotto, vegetable pizza, HM soup, cheese and onion pie/pasties, cheese pie (school dinner style), jacket potatoes with filling of choice
    Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    we have settled on fish cakes n wedges(already in freezer), penne arribiata, spicy sausage pasta and chicken noodle soup n crusty bread. i also bought ingredients to make flapjacks and i still have £6.40 left! looking forward to doing this again next week when i have a full week worth of dinners to do!

    Went into Tesco yesterday to find their discount brand tomato and herb jar sauces for 20p each. Get a few of those to make loads of meals!
