got one a week or so ago from amazon when code was first posted price after code was 39.99, only just set up the the remote / wireless printing and is good works from Iphone and remote PCs have no yet worked out the fax side, but for price well worth it, as previous have said ink not the cheapest, but have it for the features at at £40 (or£50) you will find it hard to get more for your money IMO

Quite right. I used to work for one of the biggest HP resellers in Europe and it's a well known fact that they often sell the printers at very near cost price, sometimes below, because they make the money back on the consumables.

The set of ink carts you'll get with the printer will also not be full fill ones, they are sometimes only half the normal size, so you need to replace them quicker. Couple this with the fact that will probably happen inside of 12 months and HP tell you putting refilled, recycled or non original carts in invalidates the warranty means they're onto a nice little earner!

Just to be clear, it's not just HP that do this, it's common practice in the industry.

Anyone received their printer yet? Mine is still showing as Not Yet Dispatched but it's due to dispatch any time up until the 27th.

Other sellers are charging a fortune for this printer now and I'll be very annoyed if I've missed out on this as there was another printer I could have gotten if I knew this wasn't going to be fulfilled.
