Insects in Bag of Rice

Just opened a packet of Sainsbury's Fragrant Thai Rice. Poured my required amount into sieve to rinse and noticed a few black things. Next thing the black things appeared to the top and were actually crawling about the sieve. Looked in the bag and there were heaps of these bloody things crawling about in the bag.
Drove 12 mile round trip to Sainsbugs (good nickname) and was given a refund, aked if I wanted another bag and politely told her no way. Was given £5 compensation?
Would you have accepted this or demanded more?

£5.00 is fine , why demand more ? Covered petrol and cost of rice, how long have you had rice for ? these "flour weavels" are quite common, usually are more from homes rather than supermarkets ( but supermarkets can be infested)0

Its not really a good nickname if you comment on it yourself about it being a good nickname
£5 is adequate to cover fuel etc.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

Only bought it about 6 weeks ago. The sell by date was Dec 2012. It was a brand new pack just opened tonight. The best things in life are free.....0 -
I would check your cupboards, it well could have come from Sainsburys but it could also be in your cupboard, do your have your flour in the same cupboard ? if so check that as well , they are more than likely to be in hat as well !0

Seriously if people want bug free vegetables and food then we'd be paying about £5 per banana. The man without a signature.0
