Im enquirng about this on behalf of a friend who i dont want to see getting ripped off. He has a 3 year old Hyundai i30 (Diesel) and very stupidly decided to ignore the oil warning light. Needless to say yhis weekend (eventually) the engine siezed and was no more. The vehicle although it is relatively young has done around…

give ivor searl a ring for a quote on reconditioning the existing one. bear in mind your friend pays carriage.

your talking close to 1800 in my opinion in getting existing one done. a bit lower if they have one there and your friend can do an exchange.

beats me as to why people ignore things like oil warning an EML's, they wouldnt do it on a ferrari or bugatti but happy to let it go on anything else.
