A bit of good news!
After waiting over 4 weeks and several emails to Shampoo Shop and Trading Standards, without warning, my goods suddenly arrived!
Don't know whats going on but they are definitely still trading.

I have used this company many times in the past, always received excellent and speedy service - until now! I placed an order for two items on 31/08/11 and payment was processed and the total £29.07 taken from my bank account on 01/06/11. Previously i had received goods within three days and after seven contacted them by email for status of order, which on their system was "processing". I received no reply to that or three subsequent emails and following a bit of research on this and other sites became concerned and on 07/09/11, via their website i raised a ticket. This resulted in an automated reply and on 12/09/11 i received an email to say that my order had been updated to part shipped and a couple of days later one item was delivered. However, part two of the order has not yet arrived and i have received no communication or indication of when this will be delivered and the status of my order on their website remains unchanged. They say that the item is out of stock, but have not offered me a refund and i have now given them three days to refund my account or i will contact trading standards. No one answers the phone, nor the emails i send, it's like a big black hole!

Having the same problem, ordered on 29th August. Money taken by sage pay the next day and still not received!! Phone number connects to a fax, emails not returned. Not sure what else to do grrrr. Thought it was too much of a bargain

Ordered goods 19/09/2011, part order sent. As of today still 3 items outstanding, totalling £28.28. Two emails, two tickets, and a ringing phone.
Have used company for last couple of years, so am really disappointed that they have left me down!!

Please avoid this website at all costs!! i ordered shampoo, conditioner and hair treatment on the 13/09/11, after 2 emails complaining about my goods after 2 months (they were ignored by the way) the shampoo finally arrived saying the rest of my goods were to follow. No way!! not happened!! almost 3 months down the line, and they are just not responding to any emails at all!! The phone calls dont get answered either!! Please avoid!! and save yourself some money!! I have used this site a few times in the last 18 months with no problem, but after reading other readers experiences also, would say there is something very wrong!! ugh!! £50 down the drain!!:(:mad:

I have had the same problems. I ordered £35 worth of hair products last Sept and have sent so many e-mails askign where my order is and have heard nothing back. I have asked for my money back and they have ignored me and not refunded a penny. I am so annoyed! I have tried calling the number in the thread and it is no longer in use and the e-mail address now states that is no longer accepts e-mails. How are they still in business? I have contacted Watchdog but have not heard back. Do not trust this website and do not buy anythign from them as you will not recieve it!

They aren't, Jericho Retail Ltd which traded as The Shampoo Shop went into Liquidation in December last year.

If you think it is worth the hassle for the sake of £35 you can get the liquidators details from Companies House and have yourself added to the list of creditors.
