The price is good but I don't like how they advise you to charge your ipod over night so it's ready to use in the morning, do this a few times and you will kill your battery!

You should never charge things overnight, it will ruin your batteries and shorten their life!

Darn, now I'm worried, why what happens? Should I only charge it during the day?

Charged my iPhone 4 every night all night for the past year and its fine - Done the same with my iPhone 3GS and various iPods over the years without any issues.

Is that sarcasm?

When you plug your ipod/iphone or whatever in to charge it only takes around an hour to fully charge the battery.

If you plug it in to charge at night, and leave it charging over night you're overcharging your battery by quite a few hours and doing this often will reduce the life of your battery.

It's the same with laptops, my laptop battery until very recently used to last for between an hour and a half to two hours. I had a virus and some malware on my laptop and so had to run scans etc to find out what they were/remove them. The last scan was taking forever so I had to leave the laptop on overnight, and so it wouldn't go flat while I was sleeping I left it plugged into the mains.

Big mistake, since doing this my battery now lasts for around 50 minutes before needing to be charged again.

Azza, this does seem to be a problem with laptops but Ipod seems to have a cut off voltage, so that when its full it does not allow more charge.

Never had this issue with any ipod I've had (nano 1, 2, 3rd gen, ipod touch 1st, 3rd gen, also got iphone 4 and ipad 1)

Received mine today - not impressed - box scuffed as if 2nd hand - I thought 'ok - can't give it as present' - then I took it out and it has crack across the top of it! I'll contact them and see what they say.

Typical - no phone number - you have to e-mail them your phone number and they'll phone you!
