I had problems with this hdmi lead when I tried to use it with another cheap dvd player (which I bought to be able to play R1 dvds as my main dvd player is not multiregion). The problem was bad lip sync, so I tried another hdmi lead on that cheap dvd player and then it worked fine.

Clearly the lead is faulty (Not faulty as in not working at all, but faulty in that its creating really bad jitter - which is whats causing the lip sync issues)

The signal is back now, so maybe someone else has reported it.
Oh, hold on, it's gone again!:mad::mad: on and off, on and off.....
Fat chance to have someone coming and look into it on a bank holiday.
I do a full re-tune both on my tv freeview and pvr freeview regularly, every time some new channels are created. The switchover is for next year anyway.
So the lead is definitively rubbish, it would be useless to try and connect my PVR to my TV with it again, maybe that's why last time I tried the BBC channels weren't there. That was a waste of time and money.:(

Yeah, it seems that with HDMI leads, the cheaper the better.

Not true, youve just had bad luck
Take the HDMI back to the retailer for a replacement
