how can i change suppliers

I have had my property for nearly a year not but have only lived in it for 5 months - how do i use the comparision websites as i do not have a true like for like comparison with not living in the property for a year. My current tarrif with Eon is due to change on the 28th June and its for dual fuel. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi, as you have no accurate figures to enter into the comparison sites probably the best you can do is to enter 'average figures' for an average household, these are around 3300kw of electricity and 20000kw of gas. This assumes you have gas central heating and the figure would vary depending on whether your oven is gas or electric, however they would probably be a good indication of costs unless you are a particularly high user of either gas or electric. Personally I use around 4200kw of electricity but only 16000kw of gas but don't like the house to get too hot.0
